REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

• Strong SQL skills and experience with analytics engineering practices
• Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, QuickSight) including advanced dashboard development
• Experience with AI/ML platforms, particularly AWS Bedrock, AWS-Q, Claude, or similar LLM services
• Web development skills (Python/JavaScript) for building custom data and ai-enabled applications
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and user experience design
• Experience with business data systems such as 360-degree customer views, financial analytics, service reporting and beyond.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Senior Analytics Engineer will combine BI expertise, AI/ML integration skills, and strong SQL/data modelling capabilities to create powerful dashboards, interactive applications, and analytics solutions. This role bridges business needs with technical execution, ensuring analytics are accurate, engaging, and AI-ready.

PURPOSE:

Design and deliver advanced analytics, BI, and AI-enabled solutions that turn complex data into intuitive visualizations and actionable insights, empowering business decisions across the enterprise.

To support AI and data enablement, Nuix are building an internal Data, Analytics and AI team. This team will have the following responsibilities:

• Design, build and operate our enterprise data platform
• Design, build and operate integration for current and new data sources
• Design data cleaning / governance / compliance tooling, standards and processes
• Enable decision making with Data & Analytics capability through visualisations and tools
• Enable team productivity with AI and data enabled tooling such as Customer-360, financial planning and beyond

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build advanced dashboards in Power BI, QuickSight, and other BI tools
• Apply visualization best practices for clear, impactful user experiences
• Develop scalable SQL-based data models to support analytics
• Embed AI capabilities from AWS Bedrock, AWS-Q, Claude, or similar LLM platforms into analytics products
• Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate predictive and generative insights
• Use Python/JavaScript to build custom analytics and AI-enabled applications
• Create interactive tools for self-service analytics and predictive modeling
• Deliver analytics for customer 360, financial, service, and operational reporting
• Apply statistical techniques to uncover trends and provide actionable recommendations
