APPOINTMENT

Secondary Teacher – Senior and Junior Mathematics and Senior Physics and Junior Science Teacher

Moreton Bay Boys’ College is seeking a QCT registered, suitably qualified Senior and Junior Mathematics and Senior Physics and Junior Science Teacher for a permanent full-time position, commencing in Term 3 on Monday 14th July. We are seeking candidates who are dedicated and highly motivated, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Successful applicants should possess experience in delivering the relevant curriculum, presenting content in an engaging manner. Additionally, we value individuals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can contribute effectively as team members.

• Teachers are appointed by the Executive Principal in consultation with the Principal. The appointee is responsible to the Principal through the Head of Sub School.
• The position will attract a salary and teaching load as determined through discussion on appointment. Every staff member is expected to undergo a process of regular appraisal.
• Teachers are required to provide quality education in support of the ethos of the College, by managing classes and students effectively; ensuring cognisance of the syllabus and work program expectations; promoting learning as something to be enjoyed and maximised for each student throughout every lesson; fulfilling the “teacher’s role” in and out of class; maintaining good order and discipline; and providing a caring environment.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Minimum: Education Diploma or Education Degree in relevant curriculum area.
• Should preferably have experience teaching in Queensland schools or an understanding of the Queensland system.
