Job Description Senior and Principal Engineers - RUK&I Civil Structures (Bridges) Any Ramboll UK & Ireland offices. We invite you to join us as a Senior or Principal Engineer in our Civils Structures UK&I or Major Bridges departments to contribute to delivering and managing our exciting and diverse range of projects. Our clients rightly demand high quality and innovative solutions to the challenges they set us, so we need our staff to have strong technical ability in bridge and civil engineering, with the ability to strongly collaborate with others. We work on projects encompassing all aspects of bridge and civil engineering including new designs, management and rehabilitation of existing structures, long span bridges and major infrastructure projects. We expect you to have previous experience in one of these areas, and will most likely will be professionally recognised (IEng or CEng). As a global company, we offer the opportunity to work on major international projects as well as within the UK market. We aim to provide our clients with the best possible technical advice and seek all our staff to buy-in to this ethos. All our staff work flexibly but we’d expect the majority of your working week to be spent in one of our established UK offices. Your key responsibilities will be: Technical delivery in the field of bridge design, assessment or rehabilitation. Contributing to managing, training and mentoring less experienced colleagues Contributing to managing projects and interfacing with our clients Being part of wider team initiatives for technical and digital innovation Commercial management of projects Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. Professional accreditation (e.g., CEng or IEng). Technical Experience in bridge engineering. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
