REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in designing and developing native Android applications for mobile devices.
• Strong programming skills in Kotlin/Java (Android) or Swift (iOS exposure is a plus).
• Familiarity with MVVM pattern, data structures, and solid OOP principles.
• Experience with Android SDK performance tools and application optimization.
• Strong knowledge of API integration, unit testing, and deployment.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with iOS native development is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mobile application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployments.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with strong experience in designing and developing mobile applications across Android devices. The role requires close collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable, high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of native Android development experience and a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, mobile frameworks, and agile methodologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop mobile applications across Android devices (phones, tablets).
• Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Define and document application designs and enhancements.
• Create, review, and execute unit test plans for multiple projects.
• Assist with design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of mobile applications.
• Analyze and document design for data, workflows, logical processes, and system interactions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in applications and recommend scalable, performant technical solutions.
• Utilize technical expertise to resolve issues and ensure alignment with product goals.
