Our Consumer-Facing teams build and maintain web applications and enabling platforms, which provide features such as marketing communication, loyalty programs, and payments. Our next step is conquering the international European market and scaling our Mobile platform and applications across Europe. We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join us in that journey - to heavily influence our platform build, improve processes, and help us deliver the best native app experience in the market. Responsibilities: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Refactoring existing code to improve its design working in an agile environment. Develop test-covered code at a high quality and take part in team decisions to build scalable and maintainable apps. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, best practices, and standards are followed. Document technical specifications, installation procedures, and other relevant information for applications. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Android development. Expert knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android, along with device configurations. Strong knowledge of Google's Android UI design principles, patterns, best practices, and interface guidelines. Experience with Android Architecture components, Jetpack libraries, MVVM and Clean Architecture. Experience with optimizing mobile apps in Java and Kotlin. Experience with Compose and Coroutines. Experience with Firebase configuration. Experience working with API interfaces to integrate data and functionality in mobile applications. Ability to solve problems and propose own solutions to solve them. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Attention to detail and a strong focus on solution delivery. Professional and proactive approach to tasks assigned Knowledge of traditional software development processes and tools, including Git, JIRA, Confluence, Code Reviews, and CI/CD. Good understanding of Agile methodologies English language skills at a professional level (minimum B2). Additional Information Remote work opportunity across Poland.
