Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role: Key Responsibilities Apply agile software development practices and define application architecture models and programming standards. Design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management while setting application development standards. Collaborate with product teams to manage technical scope and deliverables, identify strategic technical debt, and provide cost/benefit analysis and prioritization recommendations. Contribute hands-on by implementing Android features, fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and improving user experience. Participate in technical discussions, propose architectural improvements, and advocate for engineering best practices. Must-have Skills (Remember to include years of experience) 6 years of professional experience in Android native mobile development. Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Familiarity with data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, and architectures such as MVP, MVVM, and declarative UI. Experience with Git, Git workflows, and modern DevOps practices for mobile applications. Strong communication skills and collaboration experience with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced English level (written and verbal). Nice-to-have A full-stack background or exposure to backend technologies. Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, or related technologies. Experience working in media, news, or content-heavy mobile applications. A passion for mobile innovation and user experience; a background in journalism is a plus. AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage AI tools to optimize day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
