Prepares operating rooms and equipment for surgery, using appropriate techniques and following anesthesia guidelines. Provides technical services and assists in operating room when requested by provider. Monitors and maintains equipment repair records and coordinates the timely repair and maintenance of anesthesia equipment. Primary liaison for equipment repairs with anesthesia department and other hospital employees.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 10 or more years Extensive experience as Anesthesia technician with progression through levels as an Anesthesia Technician.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Coursework/Training Computer training.
• Upon hire: ACLS Provider - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: PALS Provider - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: Anesthesia Technician Certification (ASATT).
