MAK Consulting is an exciting and innovative software development company based in Burlington and Brantford, Ontario. We have an immediate opening for a senior developer with extensive experience with Angular.
The ideal candidate would reside within commuting distance to either our Brantford or Burlington office. Currently, MAK’s team is following a hybrid remote structure, working two days a week in one of our office locations and three days from home.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• University/College education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines
• 7+ years recent experience in Angular. You understand all the ins and outs of building enterprise single page applications.
• Familiarity with SQL and C#
• Ability to write high-quality code
• Strong written & oral communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and team building skills
• Adaptable, able to learn new skills/technologies

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Like coding with C# and SQL
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
• Strong skills in Windows based operating systems
• Project management experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office product suite

• Design end-user facing applications for everyday use
• Work with other senior developers to design enterprise level ecosystems to share and analyze data globally
• Work with others to develop their Angular development skills
• Maintain the infrastructure for a large enterprise grade software application
• Develop new functionality to fulfill client initiatives, including web development and systems integration
• Translate business requirements into detailed design specifications to address both functional and non-functional requirements for major feature components
• Perform system analysis, code modifications, and functional testing to troubleshoot application production issues
