Description

The Role: Shikho is looking for a powerhouse Senior Animator to join our brand team. This role is for a creator who brings 2D and 3D magic, a motion graphics brain, and a collaborative energy to every project. You will bridge the gap between day to day motion briefs and high end visual execution, taking complete ownership of the visual journey for our social media platforms, app, digital products, and websites to make learning hyper engaging for students. Key Responsibilities: • Multidimensional Animation: Animate anything from complex scientific concepts and characters to abstract stories that simplify the learning experience for Shikho users. • Mixed Media Mastery: Seamlessly mix 3D elements with real world footage, including CGI, tracking, and compositing for brand films and app content. • Asset Creation: Create original 2D and 3D designs, backgrounds, and dynamic typography using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Character Animator, and/or other relevant tools. • Omnichannel Design: Integrate technical and visual solutions into design concepts specifically for social media platforms, the Shikho app, digital products, and websites. • Workflow Ownership: Take full responsibility for the animation pipeline, building efficient workflows and ensuring all output meets the high production standards of the Shikho brand. • Strategic Research: Constantly find new ways to speed up production through new plugins, software, and shortcuts to keep up with the fast paced EdTech environment. • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with academic experts, copywriters, visualizers, and the brand team to ensure every lesson or marketing asset is both accurate and visually stunning. Qualification and Skills: • Professional Background: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a top digital marketing agency or a high growth in-house brand. • Industry Preference: Previous experience within the EdTech sector is highly preferred as you will be visualizing academic content. • Digital Expertise: Deep experience creating motion content and visual assets for social media, mobile apps, and digital platforms. • The Toolkit: Expert level proficiency in relevant tools. • Motion Expertise: A portfolio showcasing clean, smooth, and modern motion graphics that align with an established digital product. • Resilient Mindset: A composed and solution oriented professional demeanor when navigating frequent project iterations or strict campaign timelines. • Project Ownership: Ability to take full ownership of a project from the first brief to the final export with minimal supervision. • Communication: Strong communication skills to explain visual choices and technical solutions to stakeholders across multiple teams. • Drive: Proven ability to work with a high degree of ownership and meet tight targets under pressure while maintaining the Shikho quality standard.
