Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The role of the Senior Apex Developer will be responsible for development of new application components and work packages for existing or new APEX/oracle applications. Working within and agile delivery team, this role works collaboratively within a team of business and IT specialists including developers, business analysts and testers to:

  • Complete the design, development and delivery of Oracle Apex related software (web app, mobile) to meet the needs of business units.
  • Ensure that the specification and design of Oracle Apex related software changes meet the defined business needs, align with enterprise and solution architectures and complies with standards.
  • Integrate software solutions with existing solutions such as OCI, AWS, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Resolve, .NET, and webMethods.
  • Produce complex documentation in accordance with the quality review standards such as technical specifications, solution design, release and deployment instructions, procedures, user & support manuals and work packages.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated senior experience in the use of a range of Oracle development tools and the with the Oracle database (PL/SQL) environment, including the use of recognised and emerging technologies.
  • Experience using source code controls and Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, GIT, SourceTree, etc.
  • Experience across a range of waterfall, iterative, incremental and agile software development methodologies
