Job Title: Senior Application Configuration Engineer Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Up to £47,600 per annum depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing Supporting the coordination and delivery of both reactive support and proactive, user-facing initiatives across Business-Wide PLM and CAD tools for the SSNA programme Ensuring that all process and data governance practices are being adhered to by the User Community Be a key user of the PLM-CAD Applications, providing support and advice to users Drive improvements in the deployment and user experience of PLM–CAD applications, ensuring of optimal alignment between business needs and toolset capabilities Contribute to the deployment of PLM-CAD capability improvements and supporting key deliverables of the NXGen Digital programme Supporting with the definition, implementation and adherence to departmental and organisational quality processes and standards Assisting end users in achieving required data quality standards across PLM-CAD applications Your skills and experiences Business knowledge of submarine solutions or related sectors within engineering and manufacturing A solid understanding of the data model underpinning supported PLM-CAD tools Strong stakeholder management and analytical problem-solving abilities Benefits As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The primary purpose of the role is to provide expert frontline support for PLM - CAD applications, ensuring that users can fully adopt and effectively utilise the tools. The role will guide stakeholders, resolve issues and help maximise the value these applications deliver across the organisation.
