Are you a driven, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual who wants to work in a friendly and rewarding environment? If so, we are looking for someone like you! The following position is open to anyone residing in Winnipeg and surrounding areas with valid work authorization.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Dedicated to the principles of exceptional service; committed to responding to, anticipating and addressing customer needs, for both internal and external customers.
- High proficiency in Java and other coding languages (e.g. Javascript/Typescript, SQL).
- High proficiency in one or more frameworks and platforms (e.g. Lambda & Microservices and API Architecture, Spring MVC, Angular, Docker).
- Significant experience with AWS services including Elastic Load Balance, Elastic Container Service/ Fargate, Elastic Container Registry, CloudWatch, Pipelines/Codebuild, Image Deployment, S3.
- Significant experience with proficiency in front end development languages and tools including HTML, CSS and Webflow.
- Significant experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or other).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to deal with all levels within the organization in a team environment.
- Ability to mentor and coach team members.
- Ability to collaborate and share knowledge openly.
- Takes personal responsibility for assigned work as well as team goals to achieve success.
- Strong problem solving / analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong communication skills including verbal and written skills.
- Exercises judgment, tact and discretion when handling confidential information.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent applied experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Two or more of the following certifications:
- AWS Developer – Associate certification
- AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate certification
- AWS Dev Ops Engineer – Professional certification
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
- Spring Professional Certification
- Oracle Certificate for Professional Java SE
- ITIL & TOGAF certification preferred.
