KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

While the role is about leading the maintenance/support of the platform in Prod, additional responsibilities over time may include:

  • Lead the technical strategy for customer, developing the technical architecture strategy to support the goals of the customer users, to handle new requirements.
  • Lead the team of support specialists.
  • Set the technical vision and engineering roadmap.
  • Maintain and evolve application
  • Manage 3rd parties and external vendors (in regards to tech integration)
  • Collaborate with the customer to shape and execute the product roadmap if required.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The ideal candidate should be an accomplished and hands-on technology leader with proven knowledge and experience in the IT industry delivering complex technology initiatives (ideally highly available, secure and modular digital platforms) and large transformation programs. Ideally, the candidate has already held previously technical leadership and or mission critical roles and must be capable to evolve/handle a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Importantly, the candidate must be able to switch between solution architecture and hand-on tech development and will work on tricky problems and getting in the trenches to make it all happen (with the team). He/she will leverage enterprise architecture better practice principles and the use of applied reference models and technology patterns (azure) to sustain the platform and drive it forward. A people person, the candidate will be able lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver clear business outcomes, while balancing technologies, principles and good governance.
