Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with C#, HTML, Angular, CSS, SQL, Oracle, and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of MVC, WPF, Azure DevOps, and MVVM.
  • Deep understanding of web services design and relational databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Solid experience working within agile development methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
  • Ability to write comprehensive and clear documentation for design and code.
  • Excellent customer focus with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in coordinating with vendors and providing technical support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Power Generation IT & OT applications.
  • Experience in data analysis and system performance improvements.
  • Prior experience with on-call rotating shifts in a software support role

Responsibilities

The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software development, including troubleshooting and supporting existing applications, building custom solutions, analyzing data, and providing recommendations. You’ll work closely with vendors and coordinate support for vendor applications. Additionally, you will handle 24x7 rotating on-call shifts to provide critical application support whenever needed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design, Build, and Deploy software solutions for Power Generation IT and OT applications.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support for existing applications.
  • Develop custom applications based on requests and needs from various teams.
  • Perform data analysis and recommend solutions to improve performance and functionality.
  • Work with vendors and manage vendor application support coordination.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code in C#, HTML, Angular, CSS, SQL, and other key technologies.
  • Design and implement web services to enhance system functionality.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps, MVC, WPF, and MVVM for building flexible and scalable systems.
  • Maintain strong documentation for application design, code, and processes.
  • Work within agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban) to ensure successful project delivery.
