Job Description We’re on the search for a Senior IT Application Development Project Manager, who will lead the IT delivery of AFCA’s Scams Jurisdiction Program. In this high-impact role, you’ll drive the IT delivery stream of the program, coordinating analysis, development, testing, and implementation across AFCA’s internal teams. You’ll ensure our systems, data, and reporting are ready to support this critical new jurisdiction, all while keeping delivery on track, in budget, and aligned with AFCA’s governance and security frameworks. If you’re an experienced IT Project Manager, looking to make a real impact, join us for this 2 year fixed term contact. Typically in this role you will: Lead the end-to-end IT delivery of the Scams Jurisdiction Program, from planning to implementation and handover Manage the IT project plan, milestones, and deliverables in sync with the broader program roadmap Coordinate internal IT teams across business analysis, development, testing, architecture, data, infrastructure, and security Oversee requirements gathering, solution design, build, integration, testing, and deployment, ensuring smooth transition to BAU Track and manage the IT budget, including resource allocation, licensing, and tooling Report on financials, risks, issues, and delivery status to both IT and program governance forums Act as the primary IT contact for the program, ensuring alignment with business objectives Maintain governance documentation, change control, and audit trails in line with AFCA standards Champion collaboration and clarity across cross-functional teams (no direct reports, but strong matrix leadership) Ensure IT delivery complies with AFCA’s architecture, data governance, and cyber security standards including regulatory obligations. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience leading complex IT projects end-to-end within regulatory of compliance driven projects Strong knowledge of CRM, workflow and case management platforms Demonstrated ability to deliver projects under fixed regulatory deadlines Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Deep understanding of IT governance, architecture, and delivery frameworks Financial acumen to manage budgets and reporting A collaborative mindset and ability to lead without direct line management Additional Information BOSS Best Places to Work 2024 –credited for its culture, engagement and flexible working arrangements.
