As the German Armed Forces' primary digitalization partner, we provide stable, secure, and efficient IT services both domestically and internationally, from routine operations to operational deployments, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of the German Armed Forces' command and control capabilities. With over 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernize one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are passionate about further developing the German Armed Forces' IT infrastructure through challenging digitalization projects and thus contributing to Germany's security. 

The "DevSecOps Engineering" department implements and operates the IT security-critical software projects of the CCITS. We are part of the "Competence Center IT Security" (CCITS), which centralizes operational IT, information, and cybersecurity expertise.

Your tasks:

• You will work in an agile team on the integration and operation of software applications and systems in an IT security context according to DevSecOps principles.
• You integrate software artifacts developed by other teams.
• You configure and integrate Kafka and OpenSearch into a complex service.
• Automation of development, testing and operational processes
• Maintenance of technical documentation

Your profile:

• Completed university degree in a relevant field or equivalent
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience 
• Knowledge of container orchestration with Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of container security is desirable.
• Good Linux skills
• Good knowledge of Kakfa and/or OpenSearch
• Programming language skills in Go or Python
• Knowledge of Nix/NixOS is desirable. 
• Teamwork and assertiveness
• German fluent, English good knowledge
• Basic willingness to travel
