JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate in this position will:

  • Provide in depth operational and technical support for services, applications and access controls supported and managed by Identity and Access Management to inside and outside business customers, recommending approaches and solutions to complex problems.
  • Possess a strong technical background developing applications using .NET technologies with backend database skills using SQL server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and other scripting languages.
  • Possess a technical background with GCP, Big Query, and Composer.
  • Participate in the implementation of new processes, products, and services related to the Identity, Processes & Analytics (IPA) mission and strategy potentially impacting all users throughout the enterprise.
  • Lead testing efforts for reports and solutions developed by the department
  • Mentor and train others on IT&S development standards and best practice related to all IPA reporting products and services.
  • Participate in periodic on call support rotation

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

25% Operational Support

  • Provides level 3 support for reports and solutions developed by IPA driving issue resolution with long-term solutions.
  • Communicates new releases, system and reporting enhancements to end user representatives as they are identified to be applicable to the customer base.
  • Maintains existing user documentation for one’s own development related to such enhancements.
  • Uses solid judgment in prioritizing issues, working open problems, and escalating unresolved problems and at-risk incidents to appropriate authority.
  • Provides feedback to the appropriate IT&S personnel with regard to additional training needed by the end users.
  • Recommends and contributes to process improvement opportunities
  • Participates in on-call support rotation.

70% Technical Expertise

  • Lead design efforts involving IPA solutions and reports across all projects and initiatives.
  • Construct proof of concepts to assess capability and feasibility of new ideas.
  • Frequently monitor application security trends and standards, making recommendations to the department based on current research.
  • Continually seeks to improve technical skills as they relate to all areas of the support organization through continuous professional development.
  • Oversee and participate in peer review and unit testing activities in the development lifecycle.
  • Author technical documentation prior to production deployments and operational handoff.
  • Review technical artifacts created by the IPA for accuracy and completeness.
  • Evaluate vendor products and services where needed to enable IPA initiatives and strategy.
