About the role We’re seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist (Collections & Enforcement) to support and enhance our critical collections platforms, ensuring systems run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly. Day-to-day, you will: Maintain stability, performance, and availability of core Collections & Enforcement systems, including Oracle CC&B, SOA Suite, WebLogic, batch workloads, and secure file transfers Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across integrations, batch jobs, APIs, and data flows to prevent customer or operational impacts Manage and optimise daily and overnight batch schedules, ensuring all enforcement, Non-arranged Travel (NAT), and billing workflows run on time and within SLAs Be available for a 24/7 on‑call roster, supporting after‑hours incident response, escalation coordination, and contributing to root‑cause and recovery activities Drive continuous improvement by enhancing monitoring, automation, scripting, system documentation, and operational processes while collaborating with a supportive team that shares knowledge openly. This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Strong experience supporting mission‑critical, high‑volume enterprise applications, ideally with Oracle CC&B, SOA Suite, WebLogic, secure file transfers and related integrations Strong technical troubleshooting capability across logs, SQL analysis, batch processing, APIs, and end‑to‑end system behaviour Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Java, Bash, or similar) to support automation, diagnostics, and performance improvements.
