ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for Senior Application Support Specialist – Operational Technology. This role will lead the implementation, support, and training of tools within the support team’s focus area. You will provide expert advice on operational technology products, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
A passion for continuous improvement in digital operations will be realised by challenging the status quo. This role will be accountable for technical leadership in a team responsible for 24/7 support and for the management of critical operational systems for our System Control, Contact Centre and Field Operations functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development, maintenance, and delivery of coaching and support within the Digital Services team, ensuring systems are used safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Ensure interoperability and security governance of systems between corporate and OT, in line with industry and business policies.
• Manage multiple vendors, measure operational performance, and provide technical expertise to drive improvements and positive outcomes.
• Foster collaboration between vendors and technical teams to solve complex, time-critical problems.
• Continuously develop technical understanding of current and emerging technologies in DMS/OMS environments, supporting System Control services and Field Operations.
  This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
