SENIOR APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Applications Developer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves the Authentications Transformation Program, focusing on CIAM security-related initiatives. The Senior Applications Developer will lead the functional design and development of application systems, providing technical leadership and consultation to senior management and technical teams.

SENIOR APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting applications, especially with JAVA, CIAM, RESTful integrations, and security solutions.
• Experience with GoLang & Java 8+/J2EE in developing backend applications.
• Advanced understanding of agile practices, including code versioning, CI/CD, and automated quality practices.
• Strong experience with testing platforms, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Prior experience as a delivery lead for technology projects and leading a team of developers.

SENIOR APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with databases and database integration, such as MongoDB or MySQL.
• Experience with CIAM products like Transmit Security or Broadcom Layer 7.
• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure.
• Experience with tools like Git, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps.
• Experience in UI/UX development, using frameworks like Angular or React.

• Lead complex solution design activities, translating business requirements into system and application designs.
• Design and document technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and lead multiple complex technology solutions.
• Act as the solution lead, moderating design review sessions and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Support and mentor junior designers and developers through collaboration and effective problem-solving.
