The Senior Applications Engineer designs, develops, and implements complex solutions for core financial applications, providing enterprise-level expertise and mentoring other engineers. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years in software development, systems integrations, and leadership with technical team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related fields.

MINIMUM PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering continuous learning.
  • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Administer and manage complex enterprise applications.
  • Lead multi-departmental teams on medium-to-large projects.
  • Ensure system compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
  • Represent the organization in conferences, meetings, and presentations.
  • Manage escalations and resolve complex issues.
  • Drive organizational improvement through new technologies.
  • Manage multiple application environments, ensuring security compliance.
  • Provide programming support for applications.
  • Complete project bids and gather system requirements from customers.
  • Continue professional development through participation in organizations and events.
  • Conduct research on new installations, upgrades, and training (lifting up to 50 pounds may be required).
  • Occasional travel (interisland or continental US) may be required.
  • Valid driver’s license and use of own vehicle may be required for travel to branch locations.
