We are looking for a skilled Senior Applications Tester with experience in manual testing, test planning, and business-focused quality assurance. Strong expertise in drafting test cases, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring software quality through structured testing methodologies. Capable of implementing basic test automation to support manual efforts. Well-versed in XML document processing and workflows within multilingual legislative environments, ensuring accurate validation of structured data.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Proven experience in designing and executing manual test cases for web-based applications, ensuring full coverage of business requirements;
• Proven experience in defining and maintaining test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with business analysts and developers;
• Proven experience in conducting exploratory and regression testing, ensuring compliance with business rules and legislative workflows;
• Proven experience in validating XML document transformations and processing, ensuring correct parsing and data integrity in legislative environments;
• Proven experience in assisting in basic automation scripting for repetitive test scenarios, improving test efficiency;
• Proven experience in collaborating with development, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure accurate functional implementations;
• Experience in reporting and tracking defects using JIRA/ServiceNow, providing clear documentation for issue resolution;
• Experience in supporting UAT sessions, gathering feedback from business users to improve usability and compliance;
• Experience in developing and optimizing Bash and PowerShell scripts for test execution, system monitoring, and reporting;
• Experience in integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, enabling seamless continuous testing and deployment;
• Experience in collaborating closely with development, analysts, architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to improve test coverage and software reliability;
• Proven experience in translation processes (TM management), Experience in XML document processing, Experience in XML workflows in legislative environments;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach;
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, facilitating smooth collaboration with business users;
• Ability to work in agile environments, ensuring adaptability to evolving requirements;
• Strong documentation skills, ensuring traceability of testing activities;
• ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation & Advanced Level preferred) is required;
• Certified in relevant automation tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified) and ITIL v4 would be considered as a plus;
• Very good knowledge of English (at least Level B2);
• Very good knowledge of French (at least Level B2).

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Test Case Design & Execution: Strong experience in defining test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business and functional requirements;
• Test planning and strategies: Strong knowledge in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Acceptance Testing with strong experience in Agile software development. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies used by large-scale international organizations;
• Manual testing: Strong knowledge and experience in test management, test methodology, and test implementation. Strong knowledge and experience in test plan writing, interpretation, and enhancement of User-Stories. Strong knowledge and experience in exploratory testing, including smoke test and happy path traversal scenarios;
• Test Management & Documentation: Proficient in tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, and Confluence (Wiki-based applications) for test tracking, defect reporting, and test case management;
• Acceptance Criteria & Business Knowledge: Strong ability to interpret user stories, refine acceptance criteria, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure functional correctness;
• ML Document Processing: Extensive experience with XML-based workflows in legislative environments, ensuring correct document structure, validation, and transformation processes;
• Basic Test Automation: Familiar with test automation using Selenium IDE, Katalon Studio, or Cypress for simple UI and regression tests;
• API Testing (Basic): Knowledge of REST and SOAP API testing using tools like Swagger/RESTAssured and Bruno to verify data exchanges;
• Scripting & Automation Support: Basic proficiency in Bash scripting, PowerShell, and Groovy to assist automation workflows;
• CI/CD & Version Control: Experience integrating test cases into CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and managing test artifacts with GitHub/GitLab;
• Cloud & Virtualization: Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS/Azure and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assistance to project managers for writing Master Test Plans and / or Specific Test Plans;
• Follow-up versions and authorize maintenance of integration environment (monitoring);
• Management of the complete process of functional testing;
• Management of the complete process of integration testing;
• Writing test cases and test scenarios;
• Test execution;
• Issue reporting to the technical team and monitoring;
• Reporting to the project manager and the release manager • Test automation • Assistance to project owners (including helping in users acceptance tests);
• Quality improvement of applications in accordance with unit-specific guidelines (accessibility/navigation/consistency/etc.);
• RFC validation from a testing point of view;
• Measure of quality following objective indicators;
• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
