If so, we are interested in hearing from you. Due to our ever-increasing client portfolio and the continuing development of our Arboricultural department, we are looking to appoint a Senior Arboricultural Consultant.
The position provides the right candidate with an ideal opportunity to be a part of a motivated team who provide technical advice to a diverse range of clients covering projects across all aspects of arboriculture. Our team undertakes Arboricultural surveys and Arboricultural Impact Assessments in accordance with BS5837: Trees in Relation to Design Demolition and Construction – Recommendations. They will also be involved in a wide range of projects covering the preparation of Woodland Management Plans, Veteran Tree Assessments, NHBC Surveys and Tree Hazard Assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Managing projects throughout their life-cycle prior to and post-planning, preparing fee quotes, managing project budgets and providing advice on arboriculture to clients, stakeholders and project teams;
  • Planning, leading on and conducting arboriculture surveys;
  • Preparing a range of Arboricultural reports - Arboricultural survey plans, Arboricultural reports, Arboricultural impact assessments and Arboricultural method statements and strategies;
  • Designing and implementing appropriate mitigation measures to enhance and protect Arboricultural features;
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff, sharing your own knowledge and expertise to develop their skills and knowledge and professional judgement;
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, as well as with contractors and regulatory bodies
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, in the planning and delivery of Arboricultural services.
