Job Description We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Senior Architect to join our innovative team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of the team, you will lead complex projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients to deliver exceptional architectural solutions. Spearhead the design and development of large-scale projects from concept to completion Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project success Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure conformance with specifications and design intent Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and drafters Develop and maintain client relationships, understanding their needs and translating them into innovative design solutions Perform quantity surveys and cost estimations for accurate project tracking and reporting Ensure all designs meet local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability requirements Present design concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices Qualifications BSc in Architectural Engineering from an accredited institution Valid professional architecture license Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design and project management Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex architectural projects Aviation experience is preferred Expert knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, and building codes Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp Strong understanding of sustainable design practices and LEED certification processes Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior staff Experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
