• Being able to prepare presentations, and pre-concept design proposals for projects/competitions in sketches and related software based on clients’ needs.
• Being able to lead clients’ meetings to clarify project requirements, programs, milestones and to collect the necessary information to commence the design work.
• Having the capability and creativity to develop concepts, schematic and detailed design to clients satisfaction.
• Having the capability to manage and monitor and lead the drafting process and the draftsmen, and to be able to monitor productivity and to fix completion milestones.
• Having good knowledge of the Authorities rules and regulations, being responsible to develop all design stages in full compliance with the regulations.
• To have excellent knowledge on Architectural materials specifications and ability to perform material selection to best suit the Architectural purpose and Authorities regulations.
• To be able to prepare Architectural details in full consideration to constructability and practicality of works execution.
• Lead the coordination with all other design disciplines of Structural, MEP and others.
• Lead the coordination with the Follow-up team for submissions and obtaining Authorities approvals and relevant NOC’s.
• Having good knowledge about the contracts procedure, providing inputs to contracts department as necessary to prepare tenders.
• Lead the change management process with the client during the design stage.
• To be able to coordinate with the construction supervision team to resolve technical clarifications via good site execution practices.
• Being able to implement quality control system’s procedures, forms and check lists.
• Being Professional in using (Time programs software , Sketchup, Photoshop, Revit, AutoCAD, 3D MAX or Lumion, ​).
• Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience, 5 years in Consultancy firms within UAE.
