QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, with demonstrable experience on industrial complex projects at different stages.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape or TwinMontion, Bluebeam
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in architectural design works.
• Proficiency in the BIM environment is mandatory.
• You understand the design process and ability to deliver this from concept into detail design and understand how to identify and design key details, and onto to project completion.
• Understanding detail for compliance requirements e.g., building regulations and working knowledge of Region’s Building Systems, Regulations and construction types will be required for this role.
• You have excellent presentational and communicational skills both verbally to liaise with other disciplines/ team members, but also visually using software or hand drawing skills.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead the technical delivery of varying types of projects for Arcadis that involve resilience, water resource management, or components of projects, ensuring that financial, quality, timeframe, and health and safety objectives are consistently met. In this role, you will oversee the execution of significant elements within larger projects, aligning with Arcadis management systems to achieve time, quality, budget, and safety targets.
As a Senior Architect, you will take a leadership role in managing medium-sized and moderately complex tasks within a single discipline, coordinating and guiding teams of designers and technicians in your area of expertise. You will bring your technical expertise to bear in task management, meeting Arcadis Task Manager Academy competency standards, and driving excellence in stakeholder satisfaction by fostering proactive collaboration and championing client care.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Perform role in accordance with Arcadis behavioral framework.
• Review and quality assure the work of other staff prior to delivery to ensure it meets the requirements of the client’s brief.
• Lead the production, and coordination of technical drawings through all project phases—from Concept Design through to Construction Documentation
• Guide the project team through the creative decision-making process and provide alternative solutions if there are changes to project parameters.
• Oversee an agreed scope of work and the operational workload of a project team, ensuring work is allocated appropriately and resources are fully utilized.
• Work collaboratively with other sectors/disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution and to resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify opportunities for Arcadis process improvements that improve quality and/or improve efficiency.
• Lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project and in their professional development.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure effective communication of progress, changes and resolution of issues.
• Develop and review budgets for GEC scope elements of a project.
