Your opportunity
As Senior Architect, you will assist the Project Architect/Coordinator in the design and documentation of specific projects and manage specific tasks in conjunction with, or as delegated by the Project Architect/Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Architect in ensuring that designs comply with all regulatory requirements, including MCC, BCA and Mirvac fit-for-purpose standards.
Apply project specific QMS (including sustainability standards) to all documentation prior to issue.
Comply with the Mirvac HSE Management System, HSE policies and procedures.
Develop improvements for discussion with Senior/Project Architect/Coordinator and Design Director.
Coordinate appropriately with consultants and sub-contractors.
Participate in sales and settlement events in order to appreciate the viewpoint of the end user (customer).
Establish and monitor task specific program plus team performance in conjunction with the Project Architect.
Oversee and coordinate the work of required Consultants and Designers in conjunction with the Project Architect.
Be capable of fulfilling the role of 2nd in Charge for the project to direct team outputs and stand-in in the absence of the Project Architect/ Coordinator.
Use project specific electronic filing procedures throughout the course of the project.
Assist in the proper archiving of all relevant project data on completion.
Ensure that assigned tasks are within budget and documentation is delivered to program in a cost-effective manner.
Liaise with Project Architect on resource requirements.
Keep up to date with best practice design in conjunction with Mirvac objectives.
Your point of difference
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in architecture, design or property development. You will be proficient in design software and possess a solid understanding of CAD/BIM standards. Strong financial acumen is essential as you will be responsible for managing budgets. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Registration in accordance with the Architects Act of NSW is required.
