Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000+ (Based on Experience & Registration)

QUALIFICATIONS

• M.Arch or equivalent degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect (AIBC) in good standing (mandatory).
• 10+ years of professional experience, with significant exposure to cultural, institutional, or complex mixed-use projects.
• Proven experience leading projects from design through construction.
• Strong Revit proficiency and technical expertise in project delivery.
• Solid understanding of BC Building Code, zoning bylaws, and local approvals.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and client management skills.
• A collaborative, team-focused mindset with the ability to inspire others.
• Interest in contributing to studio growth, mentorship, and potentially stepping into higher leadership roles.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a Senior Architect / Project Lead to take ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the civic, institutional, and mixed-use sectors. You’ll manage projects from early design through construction, lead consultant and client coordination, and ensure design intent is carried through with technical excellence. This is an opportunity for a seasoned architect who enjoys leading, mentoring, and taking on a visible role in both project and studio leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex projects across cultural, institutional, civic, and mixed-use sectors.
• Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Guide design development, technical documentation, and coordination across all project phases.
• Liaise with consultants, authorities, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery.
• Champion quality, sustainability, and design integrity throughout the process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to intermediate and junior staff.
• Assist in business development efforts, including client presentations and proposal support.
• Contribute to the leadership and long-term growth of the Vancouver studio.
