  • Registered Architect with the AIBC (or eligibility in BC)
  • 8+ years of professional experience with demonstrated leadership in project delivery
  • Strong portfolio of work across commercial, office, and/or light industrial sectors
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across all project phases
  • Deep understanding of BCBC, VBBL, and relevant codes
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools
  • Skilled communicator and client liaison, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The firm is seeking a Senior Architect (AIBC Registered) to lead project delivery and mentor a team of intermediate architects and technologists. This is a strategic role for a technically grounded and design-savvy architect who enjoys balancing leadership, project execution, and client engagement. You’ll work closely with senior leadership in both Vancouver and Montreal and play a key role in shaping the office’s continued growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead complex commercial, office, and industrial projects from concept through to completion
  • Oversee design development, technical detailing, documentation, and construction administration
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and internal resources
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintain strong client relationships and act as primary contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor junior and intermediate team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration
  • Identify project risks and address challenges proactively
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and represent the studio in industry events and networking opportunities
