REQUIRED SKILLS

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Architectural Technologist or Senior Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) to join our collaborative team. You’ll work alongside our Structural Lead and Engineers to produce high-quality structural drawings for a wide range of low-rise residential projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft structural permit and working drawings, including floor framing plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
  • Apply a strong understanding of OBC Part 9 wood-framed construction, including foundations and footings
  • Develop building details and sections from limited input, such as site photos or engineer notes
  • Ensure quality control through both self-review and peer reviews
  • Effectively manage your own workload to meet project deadlines
  • Collaborate in a team environment and work independently when required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
