Hays has been retained to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist for a Midleton-based Architectural and Project Management company. This client has been in business for over 16 years, and routinely manages multimillion euro projects.

YOUR NEW ROLE

This position will place the successful candidate at the head of the client’s design team, overseeing detailed design from a technical standpoint. Responsibilities are as follows:

• Managing in-office design team.
• Managing design projects and overseeing technical detailing.
• Manage the issue/receipt of the drawing design information.
• Liaise with Client Design Team to bring clarity to the scope of deliverables.
• Generate and manage document and drawing output.
• Generate and manage technical submittals and schedules.
• Product detailing & interfacing with other components and materials.
• Co-ordination with Mechanical, Electrical and Process services.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Attend site meetings as required.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Level 8 Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Technology.
• 8+ years’ experience working as an Architectural Technologist.
• Prior experience leading design teams is desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
