Ciklum is looking for a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team full-time in India. About the role: As a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This project focuses on building next-generation AI-driven automation solutions within a global fintech platform. The initiative aims to replace manual, rule-based decision-making processes with reliable, auditable AI systems powered by LLMs and agent-based architectures. Operating in a highly regulated environment, the platform must ensure full compliance with financial regulations while delivering high-precision, low-latency processing at scale. The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, improve decision accuracy, and enable secure, real-time processing across high-volume payment workflows. Responsibilities: * Design, build, and deploy AI solutions using Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Foundry, AWS * Develop and manage LLM-based applications using Azure OpenAI and related services * Implement agent-based architectures, including orchestration, tool-calling, and multi-step workflows * Build production-ready AI pipelines with proper logging, monitoring, evaluation, and versioning * Integrate AI services with enterprise systems via APIs, event-driven patterns, and data platforms * Configure and manage model deployments, prompt flows, evaluations, and safety controls in AI Foundry * Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, privacy, and compliance * Optimize for latency, cost, scalability, and reliability * Collaborate with architecture, security, DevOps, and product teams to move from POC to production * Contribute to reusable AI patterns, internal frameworks, and best practices Requirements: * Strong hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI (model deployments, scaling, quota management) * Understanding of Azure AI Foundry: Prompt flows, Evaluations, Model management, Safety configurations, Deployment pipelines * Experience building AI agents and tool-calling systems * Understanding of MCP concepts and secure tool integration patterns * Experience with orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar * Knowledge of RAG architectures, embedding pipelines, and vector search * Experience implementing human-in-the-loop patterns What`s in it for you? * Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment * Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise * Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications * Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies * Care: We’ve got you covered with company-paid medical insurance, mental health support, and financial & legal consultations About us: At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter.
