Job Description Tasks & Responsibilities: participation in the SAP 4/Hana Digital Finance implementation project (LUCA) targeted to unify METRO SAP FI systems globally responsible for all R2R functional project tasks for General Ledger, especially around Fixed Assets responsibility for design of accounting and reporting of Fixed Assets in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements ensuring correctness of postings in the Fixed Asset subledger and alignment with the General Ledger ensuring cross-project cooperation to support E2E CAPEX flow responsible for system testing and coordination of proper defect resolution by implementation partner participation in system and process improvement initiatives, including testing and implementation of SAP solutions related to Fixed Assets supporting audit processes (internal and external) and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards Qualifications Skill set & experience profile: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent education Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting, with strong expertise in Fixed Assets Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP in the area of fixed assets and CAPEX Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel and solid knowledge of SAP Experience in process improvements or participation in finance transformation projects will be an advantage Advanced English skills, both written and spoken Openness to learning and mentoring junior colleagues Additional Information We provide: Stable employment in an international corporation, which is constantly growing The chance to expand knowledge and experience in various areas Private medical care and group insurance, also for family members Cash benefits as part of the Social Benefits Fund, i.e., Christmas allowance Higher salary of PLN 400 to PLN 1,400 if you know an additional language Co-financed sports card Team and company integrations after hours Hybrid work
