This role ensures that all assets, facilities, and materials used in Learning &Development are effectively managed, maintained, and supplied to support the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality training programs. You will also be responsible for Maintaining compliance with organizational and safety standards. Supporting trainers, coordinators, and apprentices with the resources they need to deliver and complete learning effectively. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Maintain an accurate inventory of all L&D assets, including simulators, tablets, laptops, tools, and machinery. Record new acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and updates in the asset management system. Tag all assets with identification codes or barcodes. Conduct quarterly asset audits to verify stock accuracy. Monitor asset conditions and schedule maintenance or calibration when needed. Allocate and retrieve assets from staff, apprentices, and contractors. Maintain digital records of issued and returned equipment. Conduct inspections before reallocation to ensure safety and functionality. Track asset usage to identify underutilized or overbooked equipment. Manage the allocation of tablets, laptops, and AV equipment. Work with IT Support to ensure all devices have correct software and licenses. Maintain digital security through password protection, software updates, and device tracking. Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity policies. Ensure classrooms, workshops, and offices are clean, functional, and ready for use. Check daily for issues related to lighting, HVAC, AV systems, furniture, and general cleanliness. Coordinate repairs and cleaning with Facilities or Maintenance teams. Ensure all spaces meet health, safety, and accessibility requirements. Regularly review processes to improve assets, facility, and material management efficiency. Propose cost-saving or sustainability measures (e.g., digitalizing materials, reducing waste). Engage in professional development relevant to logistics, facilities, and resource management. To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements: Full Grade 12 School Certificate Minimum Diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Professional certificates in data analytics, BI tools, or database management are an added advantage. Minimum 3 years’ experience in data analytics or business intelligence in Mining industry is preferred. Good computer skills with the ability to use integrate management systems, word processing, Presentation, and spreadsheet applications Experience with systems such as Damstra and SAP. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
