THE OPPORTUNITY As our first Senior Broker on the ground in Brisbane, you will play a pivotal role in establishing the office culture, mentoring junior brokers, and building a high-performing book of business across both consumer and commercial asset finance. What is on offer: Highly competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure Opportunity to be a part of the Brisbane office growth story Direct access to Ausloans' full lender panel — 40+ lenders across consumer & commercial Industry-leading technology to streamline lodgements and delight clients Full compliance, back-office, and broker support YOUR ROLE As Senior Asset Finance Broker — Team Lead, you will: Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team of asset finance brokers in the Brisbane office Build and manage your own high-value client portfolio across consumer and commercial segments Originate, assess, structure, and submit finance applications across the full asset spectrum Provide end-to-end financial solutions — from initial enquiry through to settlement Act as a senior point of escalation for complex or non-standard deals Collaborate with the national leadership team on Brisbane office strategy and growth targets Deliver exceptional client experiences and drive repeat and referral business Maintain full compliance with regulatory obligations (NCCP, responsible lending, AFCA) WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate will bring: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in asset finance broking Prior experience in a team lead, senior broker, or people management role — essential Proven deal-writing capability across the full spectrum: consumer vehicle finance through to commercial equipment, heavy vehicles, and business lending Strong lender relationships and an understanding of credit policy across multiple institutions Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain — we will support you) Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills High attention to detail and sound compliance awareness An entrepreneurial mindset — motivated to build something significant, with our backing A genuine care for clients and a reputation for delivering fast, quality outcomes WHY AUSLOANS — WHY NOW This is a rare chance to get in at the start of a new chapter.
