As Senior Asset Management Plans Coordinator, you will:Sit at the intersection of asset strategy, risk, and funding, translating asset condition, performance and demand insights into credible, defensible investment plans aligned to agreed Levels of Service and the Transport Asset Management Framework.Work within the Coordinator General Division, partnering with stakeholders across all modes rail, road, ferry, light rail, transport heritage and maritime to collect, develop and maintain asset information that underpins long-term strategies.  Your day-to-day will involve:• Coordinate and support the development of the 10-year rolling Asset & Services Plan, ensuring alignment to Levels of Service, risk, performance, and funding constraints.• Support discipline-based asset management plans ensuring consistency with Transport’s Asset Management Framework.• Support the development of O&M ASPs by ensuring it meets the O&M ASP and modal ASP input requirements.• Integrate asset condition, performance, demand, and risk data from multiple systems and stakeholders into coherent planning narratives.• Translate technical and data-driven insights into clear risks, investment options, and recommendations for Directors and Executive leadership.• Facilitate cross-modal collaboration, aligning priorities across rail, road, ferry, light rail, transport heritage and maritime assets.• Apply risk-based planning techniques to inform maintenance and capital investment decisions and funding strategies.• Support the development of medium- and long-term maintenance and capital programs, testing assumptions, affordability, and sustainability.• Track asset performance and investment outcomes, identifying emerging gaps, shifts in risk, or opportunities for optimisation.• Develop high-quality planning artefacts, including presentations, summaries and reports that clearly communicate asset strategies and funding needs. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your work will influence how billions of dollars in transport assets are managed for generations to come.We have 3 positions available, 1 permanent fulltime and 2 Fixed term positions until 30th June 2027.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack.   About you You’re proactive, analytical, and thrive on turning complexity into clarity. You know how to dig deep into data, uncover insights, and bring people on the journey even when the message is tough.You bring:• Demonstrated experience developing or contributing to asset management plans, asset strategies, or long-term investment plans.• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle planning, Levels of Service, risk-based prioritisation, and funding trade-offs.• Ability to synthesise information from multiple asset classes, systems, and stakeholders into integrated plans.• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including Directors and Executive leaders, to explain risks, options, and recommendations.• Experience working within an asset management framework (e.g. ISO 55000-aligned environments).• Strong analytical and written communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, decision-ready advice.   You’re not just about the numbers you understand the bigger picture and can influence decisions that balance cost, risk, and performance.
