Responsibilities: Reporting to the Programmer Analyst / Software Designer / Specialist or any person nominated by the Manager/Senior Manager, the Assistant Data Management role supports the Meditech EHR implementation through data entry, editing, verification, and maintenance of EHR dictionaries. The role requires high accuracy, consistency, and the ability to work with large volumes of clinical and administrative data. Specific Responsibilities Perform data entry, edits, and updates inside Meditech EHR dictionaries. Review and validate dictionary records for accuracy and completeness. Enter clinical, operational, coding, and item master data. Maintain daily productivity requirements. Identify inconsistent or duplicate data and escalate issues. Maintain logs of completed and pending work. Assist with data cleanup, migration, validation, and enrichment. Follow naming conventions and data governance standards. Participate in Meditech/EHR training sessions. Ensure compliance with IT security and confidentiality policies. Regular Duties Perform data entry, updates, and corrections in Meditech EHR. Review and validate dictionary records. Maintain productivity and quality standards. Follow data standards and conventions. Assist with reporting and quality checks. Periodic Duties Attend meetings and training sessions. Support urgent updates during go-live phases. Assist other teams with related data cleanup tasks. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory). Certification or training in computer applications is an advantage. 1-2 years of experience in data entry, data processing, or HIS/EHR support. Fresh candidates with strong skills may also be considered. Knowledge and Competencies Fast and accurate typing and data entry. Ability to manage large volumes of data daily. Excellent attention to detail and error detection. Basic understanding of databases, spreadsheets, or structured data. Good written and verbal communication. Ability to follow detailed standards and naming conventions. Consistency and discipline in repetitive tasks. Ability to meet productivity and accuracy targets. Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
