Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails, communicate the same to concerned staff and take actions as instructed communicate messages promptly and accurately to the supervisor and other in order to help in the maintenance of smooth functioning of the department update daily logbook, census statistics of patients transfer in / out, admissions and discharges, birth (where applicable) and deaths. file patient hospital records as per institutional guidelines prepare and finalize bills for SDC and inpatient cases, including OR and equipment charges. coordinate with financial counselors for patient financial status and discharge-related issues. handle billing-related emails and queries from the PBSD department. update the OR list in CCMS, including cancellations, booking type, OR number, and reasons. manage sequencing of cases and organize add-ons as per policy. inform ward UR about the first scheduled patient for the next day. print and send the next day's list to the Shift Supervisor, OR Preparation, and higher management. address patient queries and confirm unverified cases. coordinate with Anesthesia Faculty & Chief Resident for OR duties. liaise with the surgeon for OR charge finalization. inform patients about fasting and arrival times based on the schedule.
