Job Summary Being part of Group Compliance (within Group Risk Management), the position holder will oversee various compliance initiatives across the Frasers Property Group, including mainly the Group Personal Data Protection Framework.   They will act as the Group Data Protection Officer and work alongside Business Unit (BU) Data Protection Officers to implement the Group Personal Data Protection Framework for compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the markets we operate in.Job Description Develop, maintain and implement the Group Personal Data Protection Framework for compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations. This includes the Group Personal Data Protection Policy and related policies, standards and guidelines on privacy, document management and retention and data breach incident management. Provide guidance to BUs and BU Data Protection Officers in their implementation of the Group Personal Data Protection Framework. Foster a data protection culture across the Group in collaboration with the BU Data Protection Officers to ensure oversight of personal data privacy and protection measures across all FPL jurisdictions, not limited to records of processing activities, data breaches, data protection impact assessments, data subject requests and data processing agreements. Review and provide guidance on data protection impact assessments to evaluate the risks associated with data protection activities and ensure adequate mitigating strategies / measures are undertaken. Manage / support data breach incident response, including the necessary data breach notification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Act as primary point of contact for relevant data protection authorities and relevant data subjects for inquiries or requests Monitor compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations in collaboration with the BU Data Protection Officers Provide relevant training / awareness to all employees across the Group, in collaboration with the BU Data Protection Officers Provide periodic updates on the Group Personal Data Protection Programme to relevant senior stakeholders of the Group Manage and perform any other compliance and related work as required by the Group Head of Risk Management Key Qualification At least 12-18 years of relevant experience Degree in Law, Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field Professional certification in data privacy e.g. CIPP, CIPM
Responsibilities
Oversee the Group Personal Data Protection Framework and act as the Group Data Protection Officer to ensure compliance across all jurisdictions. Provide guidance to Business Unit DPOs and manage data breach responses and regulatory inquiries.
