Description Business Function DBS Global Financial Markets (GFM) provides treasury, hedging, investment, and risk management solutions across foreign exchange, rates, derivatives, money markets, and securities. The business works closely with institutional, corporate, and internal stakeholders to deliver market solutions, manage financial risks, and support the bank’s broader business objectives. We are seeking an operational risk professional to support governance, risk, and control activities across GFM, working closely with business, support, and regional stakeholders. Responsibilities Governance and Oversight Provide secretariat support for the Fund Structuring Desk Execution Committee and two VCC Oversight Committees meetings, including approvals, information clearances, and periodic reviews. Partner with desks, service delivery managers, and project teams to drive outsourcing reviews, including document review, risk assessments, and stakeholder coordination. Support the implementation of operational risk policies/standards/guides. Operational Risk and Control Oversee the GFM Gift, Entertainment and Sponsorship (GES) process regionally, including process enhancements, system rollout and testing, monitoring of staff work-related expenses, monthly reviews, and maintenance of the GES Register. Review corporate travel records for tax compliance. Conduct RCSA, EWRA, and ad hoc reviews to strengthen the risk and control environment. Coordinate data submission for the annual General Insurance Programme. Serve as the central point of contact for Capital Markets, GES and personal investment policy related queries. Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as required. Process Improvement and Documentation Drive automation and digitalisation of monitoring and reporting processes. Enhance processes and systems in collaboration with business and support teams. Maintain mandates, guides, SOPs and process maps. Manage the master phone list and support retrieval of voice recordings. Training, Certification and Reporting Support the rollout of GFM operational risk trainings, including coordination, materials preparation and maintenance of training records. Track Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and other licencing required training hours. Requirements At least 6 years of relevant experience in operational risk management, capital markets, and/or outsourcing risk review, ideally within the banking sector. Strong knowledge of Global Markets, operational risk, outsourcing reviews, developing training materials and using agents or Copilot for automation will be an advantage. Self-motivated and able to work independently while managing end-to-end execution. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Well-organised, with strong planning, coordination, and delivery skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
