WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL

We’re looking for someone who understands how great software is built and scaled — not just the tech, but the mindset behind it. You should be equally excited by product-market fit as you are by go-to-market, pricing models, user flows, or shipping v1 — especially in B2B contexts.
Experience with AI, machine learning applications, or data infrastructure is a strong plus.

You might have…

• Built or worked in a B2B SaaS, AI, or data infrastructure startup
• A background in Computer Science, Technology & Management, or similar
• Experience in early-stage VC, product, or founder support roles
• Hands-on exposure to MVP development, no-code validation, and early go-to-market

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

Digital solutions are transforming how the food system works — from supply chains and emissions tracking to fermentation infrastructure and food safety. At FoodLabs, we believe the next generation of impact will be software-led and increasingly AI-enabled.
This role is about finding and backing the boldest software founders solving real, physical-world problems — fast, early, and with conviction.
You’ll work across vertical B2B SaaS, AI-native tools, IoT-enabled platforms, and data-driven infrastructure in food, biotech, and climate. You’ll define what we look for, source top founders, and help them move from idea to investment and beyond.
You’ll be embedded in our tight-knit investment team and shape our strategy in this fast-moving space.

WHAT DRIVES THIS ROLE

• Identify and win high-potential pre-seed and seed investments across B2B software, AI applications, and platform businesses
• Shape and own our investment thesis for B2B SaaS and AI in food, climate, and deep tech — including whitespace exploration and fast-follower opportunities
• Build trusted relationships with technical, product, and AI-native founders and translate their vision into investable insights
• Lead early-stage deal execution, including diligence, memo writing, and IC prep
• Stay plugged into product, growth, AI/ML, and B2B SaaS ecosystems across Europe
• Support portfolio companies post-investment — from product feedback and AI use case development to GTM and follow-on fundraising
