Mō te Tūranga | About the Role This is an exciting opportunity where you'll support the delivery of high quality and consistent credit and customer support for relationship teams across our Corporate Banking Team. You'll deal with some aspects of client's day to day requirements including dealing with internal processes and other teams within the bank and taking ownership of resolution of these requests. What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? Provide support on all aspects of customer relationship management and internal approval processes. Preparation of credit submissions using a range of business and industry analytical tools available to you. Conduct risk assessments, financial modelling and stress testing and reviewing due diligence reports in a timely and accurate manner. Assist with the drafting of terms sheets and discussion papers for internal and external use. Assist with loan and security documentation including bespoke legal documentation. What attributes will this person have in order to be successful? This role will suit someone with advanced credit writing skills and knowledge of the Bank's processes, systems and lending procedures. The role will suit someone that loves solving clients' problems and achieving the best possible outcome for them. We're looking for: Clearly established professionalism and business acumen to be able to step in and lead conversations, with CEO’s and Senior Business Executives, particularly in the absence of the Client Director. Previous Commercial or Corporate banking experience. A strong understanding of financial analysis, credit issues, risk management and debt structuring. Strong time management, with the ability to handle time critical tasks with conflicting priorities. Financial modelling skills and a good understand of accounting, legal and tax issues.
