We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Credit Advisory Underwriting to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Maintain compliance protocols related to documentation content and storage, ensuring all processes meet regulatory and internal standards. Distribute work among support staff and enhance storage processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy. Analyze new loan requests to ensure alignment with Risk Policy guidelines; prepare and submit complex credit write-ups for approval. Evaluate borrowers’ creditworthiness by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, asset statements, and property appraisals. Prepare detailed loan write-ups, including credit memos and corporate spreadsheets, highlighting borrower strengths and weaknesses with well-supported credit recommendations. Collaborate closely with sales staff to discuss loan structures and creditworthiness of prospective applicants. Manage relationships with internal and external clients and third-party vendors to support document custody objectives. Support managers by gathering and providing data during audits and contribute to team objectives. Oversee allocation and quality control of work performed by support staff; may perform supervisory review and approval tasks. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in credit analysis, loan documentation, or related financial services. Strong understanding of credit risk policies and loan documentation requirements. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound credit recommendations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with sales teams, clients, and vendors. Experience managing or coordinating support staff is preferred.
