Your New Role As Senior Associate, Crediting Rate Governance, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the Fund’s investment operations by uplifting governance, transparency and the quality of portfolio accounting data. You’ll work closely with the Custodian, External Fund Managers and internal stakeholders to enhance accuracy, improve operational processes, and implement workflow and frameworks that support reliable ABOR outputs and downstream decision‑making. Key duties include but are not limited to; Establishing and maintaining the end‑to‑end governance framework for accounting instruction quality, including resolving reconciliation differences and overseeing external fund manager processes. Selecting and implementing a workflow tool for investment accounting instruction oversight and validation. Designing and implementing a Cash vs Accounting Breaks Escalation and Resolution Framework. Creating classification matrices with clear SLAs, escalation paths and ownership in partnership with the Custodian. Collaborating with the Custodian to establish a centralised, standardised and version‑controlled instruction repository. Establishing and operating external fund manager operational oversight capability. Defining and delivering reporting on the Fund’s accounting instruction governance KPIs. Providing stakeholder training for internal teams and external managers on future governance expectations. What You’ll Need A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field. A professional accreditation such as CA, CPA or equivalent. At least seven years’ experience in investment accounting, unit pricing or investment operations within a financial institution or fund services environment. Demonstrated experience analysing complex financial data and performing reconciliations with strong attention to detail. Proven capability working with risk and control frameworks, governance processes and validation activities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and influence stakeholders and external service providers. Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving ability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Working knowledge of custodian and fund accounting processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI or Power Automate experience is desirable.
