Do work that matters: As a Senior Associate Data Scientist within Home Buying, you will assist in the development, implementation and management of AI Solutions and Machine Learning models supporting one of the largest Retail Banking divisions in Australia. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers and product partners to design, build and deploy data‑driven solutions that deliver meaningful customer and business outcomes. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that AI systems are reliable, explainable and aligned with the strategic direction of the business. Your AI and Data Science perspective will be informed by your experience in the financial services or modern AI engineering environments. Responsibilities: Contribute to the collection, cleaning and pre-processing of complex data sets performing statistical analysis and data exploration from diverse sources to support AI and agentic applications Complete activities associated with developing, evaluating and operationalising models and AI systems as part of MLOps and LLMOps practices Design and integrate generative AI capabilities, include prompt engineering, tool orchestration and structured outputs, into production workflows Apply practical experience with cloud computing services to build, deploy and scale AI and agent-based solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and propose intelligent, automation-driven solutions leveraging machine learning and generative AI.
