Leads the drafting and negotiation of critical transaction documents, such as purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and financing documents Represents clients (under the supervision of partners) in negotiations, assisting in areas like structuring of transactions to optimize legal, tax and business outcomes Leads comprehensive due diligence processes, identifying potential risks for client, and ensuring thorough review and analysis of relevant documents. May advise clients on post-transaction integration issues, handling or referring within the Firm any arising legal matters, and ensuring ongoing compliance with transaction terms May assist more senior colleagues on complex transactions in developing transaction and deal strategies, preparing for negotiations Admission in Japan PQE 3 - 6 Experience in general banking finance, broad exposure consisting of a combination of leveraged financing (including leveraged buyouts), syndicated and bilateral financing (both secured and unsecured) Fluency in Japanese and English is required Experience in a Japanese firm or international firm required This role reports to Partner Equal Opportunities White & Case is committed to creating a fair workplace.
