For our Mattel office in Frankfurt, Germany, we are looking for a full-time Senior Associate Digital Marketing (m/f/d). Job Description The Opportunity: In this role, you will be part of the local Marketing team, bringing strong digital expertise to drive the creative, effective, and efficient execution of brand strategies and plans. Your focus will be on delivering impactful Digital Media Campaigns in close collaboration with Brand Managers, Sales teams, and external agencies. Additionally, you will engage directly with external partners and retailers to develop, align, and execute joint digital activation campaigns that strengthen brand presence and deliver measurable results. What Your Impact Will Be: Digital campaigns planning Execute and optimize digital media campaigns across all the Mattel portfolio (Barbie, Hot Wheels, UNO, Fisher-Price, etc.) Work closely with external agencies and partners to define your channels’ strategy Advice Brand teams on the budget for online media plans, split by objective (awareness, engagement & conversion), audience (shoppers, adult fans vs kids) or channel Ensure best practices and latest learnings are consistently applied to maximize objectives across all Brands Social Media Content strategy: Consult and support the Brands in scheduling best-in-class social media content, providing continuous feedback on assets performance and how to improve them Content creation: brief and coordinate UGC to complement the campaign assets Agency management: Intermediate between the Brands and the Social Media agency Campaign planning: Prepare and brief local paid campaigns (brand awareness/consideration/conversion) Analysis: Evaluate Social Media metrics and budget investment to track and improve performance against yearly KPIs CRM Acquisition: support the execution on CRM acquisition campaigns throughout partnerships, online advertising or Retailers’ CRM to hit acquisition targets Engagement: support the localization, scheduling and deployment of Regional and Local brand emails and ensure the newsletters’ calendar is properly executed Conversion: coordinate the inclusion of special local promotions (eg. Amazon Prime Days) and ensure a proper deployment Evaluation: track results from email campaigns and share learnings/best practices Website Customer journey: optimize the user experience across the website to support engagement and retention Landing pages creation: build and optimize landing pages for campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand and performance goals Translations: manage website content translations to support localization and global consistency Analytics Online activities & channels analysis Definition & update of the digital benchmarks based Mattel EMEA KPIs framework & previous campaign reports Definition & implementation of tagging plans based on the KPIs to follow Recommendation of optimizations based on the reports Competitive monitoring of tracking technologies & web analysis Foster local digital capabilities Support the local organization in building digital capabilities across all business functions Drive thought leadership by sharing actionable insights from various sources, including materials deployed by the regional team Support other media activations and test & learn projects in the local market as needed Qualifications What We’re Looking For: University degree in Economics, Business Administration or any other related field (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma), Online Marketing Diploma or specific mention on Digital 5+ years in online marketing, digital media, or eCommerce/eRetail – preferably within an FMCG company or online retailer Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly good Excel knowledge Fluent in written & spoken German and English Good digital expertise (Social Media, CRM, UX, CMS, Google Analytics etc.) Ability to effectively manage projects in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment Problem solving & analytical ability and a high level of organizational and time management skills Team player with a collaborative style Additional Information What We Offer: At Mattel, we believe that great work deserves great rewards.
