Bright is a data-driven, fast-paced execution culture that will build a Global Consumer FinTech, all functions operating from India. What is the team & role about? Bright Money is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations across our India and US entities, ensuring books are accurate, reconciliations are timely, and statutory filings are filed without slippage. What you will do? * Review and maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally and QuickBooks; supervise routine operational activities and resolve issues. * Own monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings in India and the US (GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI, sales tax, etc.) within prescribed timelines. * Perform analytical reviews of financial documentation; produce statements for management on accounting status and discrepancies. * Conduct record reviews and assessments to verify financial documentation; produce financial statement reports and document audit processes and balances. * Identify accounting issues, reconcile accounts, and propose solutions. * Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company transactions. * Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary. * Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure clean schedules each close. * Manage MIS reporting and share details with the Senior Manager – Finance on a regular basis. * Support internal, statutory, and tax auditors with required schedules, evidence, and explanations. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE LOOKS LIKE?
