In Oracle finance at PwC, you will specialise in using and managing the Oracle Financials software. Oracle Financials is an integrated financial management system that provides tools for managing financial processes, such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and more. You will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle Finance system. Responsibilities: Oracle eBS Financials Implementation & Configuration and Oracle Fusion Financials Implementation & Configuration: Manage and oversee the end‑to‑end implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management. Ensure accurate system setup, alignment with business requirements, and successful deployment across project phases such as design, build, testing, and go‑live. Financial Process Design & Best Practices: Ensure that financial systems and processes are designed, implemented, and maintained in accordance with industry best practices, accounting standards, and internal company policies. Drive process standardization, optimization, and compliance while supporting business scalability and control requirements. Stakeholder & Business Engagement: Work closely with finance users, business leaders, and project stakeholders to understand business needs, present solution options, and manage expectations. Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and walkthroughs to ensure clear alignment and sign‑off. System Integration & Data Management: Collaborate with technical and cross‑functional teams to ensure Oracle ERP Financials integrates seamlessly with upstream and downstream systems. Support data migration, reconciliation, interface testing, and financial data validation. Testing, UAT & Go‑Live Support: Define and execute functional test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and resolve defects. Provide go‑live and post‑implementation support to ensure system stability, business continuity, and user adoption. Compliance, Controls & Audit Support: Ensure finance system configurations and processes comply with regulatory, statutory, and internal control requirements. Support audits, risk assessments, and control reviews, and address any identified gaps. Upgrade & Enhancement Management: Support Oracle ERP system upgrades, quarterly releases, and functional enhancements. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to assess impacts, perform testing, and deploy changes effectively. Mandatory skill sets Having knowledge in PPM . Preferred skill sets Demonstrated innovative and critical thinking in managing projects. In depth understanding of finance and accounting processes Ability to work independently in client facing roles Years of experience required 4-7 years of consulting experience in a multinational consulting firm, handling both manufacturing and service industries. Substantial overseas work experience will also be given high priority. Education Qualification Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Law, or any relevant field from a well-reputed institution. CA or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory. International professional qualifications like CPA will also be given higher priority. MBA will be an added advantage.
