Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst (FP&A & Accounting) to support financial planning, reporting, and core accounting activities. This role offers a blend of FP&A and accounting responsibilities, providing exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop a well-rounded finance skill set within a collaborative, global environment. The work timing for the role would be 2:30PM – 11PM IST. The day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to: FP&A Support * Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes * Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis * Help build and maintain financial models and reports * Partner with finance teams to gather data and support business insights * Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial deliverables Accounting Support * Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations * Support general ledger review and ensure data accuracy * Partner with accounting teams to understand financial results and drivers * Help maintain proper documentation and audit support materials Process & Reporting * Support the preparation of standardized reporting templates and dashboards * Assist in improving processes and identifying efficiencies * Maintain and organize financial data and documentation * Support system updates and reporting enhancements as needed Collaboration & Coordination * Work closely with global finance and accounting teams * Support communication of timelines and deliverables * Build relationships across teams to support financial processes Essential traits: * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field * 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or related finance roles * Basic exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or month-end close preferred * Internship or early experience in corporate finance or accounting is a plus * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Good Excel skills (financial modeling basics preferred) * High attention to detail and accuracy * Strong organizational and time management skills * Effective communication skills and willingness to learn * Familiarity with financial systems/tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Oracle, Dynamics) is a plus * Proactive mindset with interest in process improvement About Kroll In a world of disruption and increasingly complex business challenges, our professionals bring truth into focus with the Kroll Lens.
